Database Specifications

All Database Files, irrespective of the software package of creation, should be exported as:-

*.CSV files Comma Separated Variables
OR *.TXT files Comma Delimited Text

To minimise data manipulation (and hence cost), it is beneficial to have your database in an organised format.
► All records should have the same number of fields.
► Each field should have the same information for each record
► Firstname, Surname, Suburb, State and Postcode should be in separate fields so
sorting and deduplication can be achieved effectively.

Text Files: All text files should be checked for validity prior to sending
Items should be delivered to Lasermail (via e-mail or removable media), before 2pm the day before mailing is required (dependant on size of mailout).
