Print Post Specifications
Do you have an A4 newsletter or publication that you lodge twice a year or more? YES!
Then you will be applicable for Print Post Rates, this equals HUGE savings off normal full rate charges.
Lasermail will lodge an application form on your behalf. We will require a sample or mock-up of your
publication for the application with Australia Post.

Minimum items for Print Post is 100.
Weight of article can range from 45 grams to 1kg.
Surcharge will apply on publications heavier than 250grams or lighter than 50grams.
Publications are to be A4, A5 or DL size to a maximum size of 350x240mm.
Maximum thickness is 20mm on total package
Publications can either be inserted into envelopes or plastic wrapped
Delivery Times range from 1 Business Day to 7+ Business Day.
Return of undeliverables will be charged at ordinary full rate prices an additional 5¢ is added to plastic wrapped items – to minimise this; keep your database up-to-date (undeliverables will be charged directly from Australia Post to the return address listed on your address sheet)
Your address sheet / envelope must include:
- COMPANY NAME – located top left
- RETURN ADDRESS – must be an Australian address & located top left
- POSTAGE PAID AUSTRALIA – imprint MAX SIZE 26x40mm within a box; located top right
- PRINT POST MARK & PP NUMBER – place within a box using capitals and placed next to the postage paid box. Lasermail can add this once approved by Australia Post and number has been given ‘PP609669/00444’
No recipient address details or barcodes are to be located 15mm from LEFT, RIGHT & BOTTOM and 60mm from TOP of A4 address sheet. Barcoding will be allocated to all print post items where applicable. Print Post rate applicable will depend on weight category the item falls into.
